Happy Veterans Day!  A huge and heartfelt thank you to all of our service men and women, past and present, for all you’ve done for us and our country. I can’t imagine what you have gone through, I only know what it’s love to be on the family member side. I created this Celebration Collection mini with all of the love and respect to help you scrap memories of your Veteran’s or of your time serving.

My baby brother is in the Army, and I know first-hand how hard it can be to have a loved one serving. The anxiety I had when he was over-sea was heart wrenching – and having him move around the country, always so far away from us is difficult for my kids and for me. But, I am so thankful for all he does, and all all of our Veterans do (or have done) for our country.

Happy Grandparents Day! My Granny is one of my best friends – we talk on the phone every morning. My kids LOVE their Great Granny so much, and I just adore the special relationship they have with her! Of course, my mom and my husband’s parents are also HUGE parts of our lives. The love a grandparent has for their grandchildren is like none other – and someday (but not for a very long time) I hope to experience that kind of love!

I, along with many of you, have been on summer break! I have been enjoying the many activities, sunshine, swimming, playing, biking, parks, sprinklers, treats, smiles and laughter with my kids (and spending very little time inside behind my computer)! It’s been a busy summer, but filled with so much fun and so many amazing memories! Earth Day is an annual event celebrated on April 22. Worldwide, various events are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First celebrated in 1970, Earth Day events in more than 193 countries are now coordinated globally!

I like to think of digital scrapbooking as good for the earth, think of all of the waste we eliminate by going digital! No more paper scraps, glue bottles, packaging from stickers, and photo prints we cut wrong headed to the trash can! We can reuse as much as we want to get the perfect layout, and print once!
